Regional Finals
A Regional Final is a show held by a Host Facility organized by the Regional Chairperson with the approval of RIFNA and in compliance with RIFNA rules and regulations. A Regional Final shall include classes from all three recognized disciplines (Hunter/Equitation, Western, and Dressage). Every Region shall hold 2 Regional Finals. One competition will be for individual riders and the other will be a Team competition.
Individual Competition: To qualify for Regional Finals as an individual, the rider must have placed in the top 5 of that class at the District Finals. Regional Individual Finals will be run like a tournament with classes from all 3 disciplines. The top 3 riders in each class from the Regional Finals will go on to Represent their Region at State Finals.
Team Competition: The top 3 Teams from each District will compete at Regional Finals. Regional Finals for Teams will be similar to tournaments. All disciplines and all classes will be offered. The 2 Teams with the highest points in the tournament will go on to compete at the State competition
