A Sanctioned show is a show held by an event organizer with the approval of RIFNA and in compliance with RIFNA rules and regulations.  Each participating team within a region must host at least one show each school year in any one of the three disciplines (hunter/equitation, western, or dressage); however, more shows are encouraged.  A sanctioned show may be an Invitational Meet, a single-discipline show, a multi-discipline show, or a jamboree.
